Planet of the Apes Deluxe Village Playset The artwork is all hand drawn in Flash and painted in Photoshop. I wanted to mimick the marker rendered playset art Mego used but have a very true to the movie feel to it. The bridge is a nice custom job–a laminated piece of art cut in an arch shape and attached to a cut-down floor section. Complex curves are impossible to do with a sealed vinyl edge (unless you spend hundreds of dollars on tooling and manufacturing it) so a lamination job is needed.
